Who We Are
Our church was founded in 1879, rooted deeply in faith and community. As a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we embrace being a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. But we’ve never believed faith was meant to stand still. Through generations of change, challenge, and new beginnings, we have remained a progressive and dynamic congregation –growing, adapting, and seeking new ways to live out God’s love in a changing world. Our foundation is historic, but our vision continues to move forward with hope, openness and compassing
We encourage questions, honest conversations, and seeking faith with open hearts. We believe every person’s journey is unique, and none of us walks alone. Together we walk alongside one another –growing in faith, supporting each other through life’s struggles, crying together, laughing together and rejoicing together as we seek to know God more deeply and share Christ’s love with the world.
Come as you are. Dress how you feel comfortable -jeans, boots, dresses, suits or somewhere in between.
You’ll find people from different walks of life journeying together. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, haven’t been in years, or are just curious, there is a place for you at the table. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors.
